ICT excels in designing, construction supervision and independent engineering of various innovative road bridges, ROBs, flyovers, interchanges and underpasses. The expertise includes designing of various forms of superstructures using reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete for solid slab, girder and slab, box girder, (simply supported as well as continuous over straight, skew and curved alignment) steel composite type and steel truss type superstructure. ICT has also expertise to design special type of bridges having long spans using extradosed, balanced cantilever type arrangement with incremental launching system and segmental box girder. The bridges designed are across major rivers, creeks, lakes, reservoirs and gorges, for Dedicated Freight corridor, etc. With introduction of wide expressways and elevated highways on a larger scale in recent days ICT has come up with innovative techniques which enable fast construction and saving in time and money.

ICT has a dedicated team of bridge experts having rich experience of site and design. ICT has designed more than 3000 bridges, flyovers and other structures with aggregate length of more than 180,000m. Some of the major bridges and structure designed are Narmada bridge (length 1788m), Vaitrana bridge (length 1968m), Ulhas bridge (length 2961m), Chambal Bridge (length 849m ), Asthmudi Lake bridge (length 826 & 617m), Govind Sagar reservoir bridge (length 612m), Elevated highway on VM expressway (length 4012m), etc.

ICT also specializes in inventorisation, condition survey, inspection, testing and preparing repair and rehabilitation plans both for highway and rail bridges and other structures.

ICT has developed in-house software for design of all components of bridges / structures. In addition ICT is using internationally accepted software such as, STAAD PRO, GT STRUDL, ADAPT, etc.
